Home health aides provide patients with personal care services such as grooming, bathing, meal preparation and light housekeeping. Aides under the direction of a licensed professional also do some treatments such as simple dressing changes and colostomy care. Such services not only help the patient remain in their home but also contribute to the patient's overall health and well-being.
Medical social workers (MSW's) can provide patients and their families with practical assistance with problems they encounter. The assistance that MSW's provide can often help families obtain needed services that may available through community and government agencies.
Occupational therapists (OT's) and OT assistants help each patient to better perform activities of daily living. These activites include eating, bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
Through an effective speech program, patients learn to better use and comprehend language. Enhanced written, spoken and nonverbal communication helps patients gain greater independence and improved quality of life.

A thorough evaluation is completed for each patient based on the physician's orders. Following the evaluation, a treatment plan is developed based on the individual patient's needs and conditions. By working with the patient in their own home environment, the home health care provider can gain valuable insights into the patient's lifestyle and habits that serve to improve the course of treatment and care to be delivered. Our primary goal is to help the patient live a healthier, more independent life at home.
